Our Audio Team Consists Of "A1", A2", "AST" & "Stage Manager"

 

Our audio and stage manager teams have the responsibility to ensure that our message is heard locally on campus and internationally for our live-streaming. This team runs our sound board for both in-house and for live-streaming, sets up microphones for each service and much more. This position works in various locations around the church on Sunday mornings, evenings, and through-out the week.

A1: Lead Sound Engineer for Worship/Event 

Programs & operates the sound console and primary sound engineer for the event. Focuses on running sound to the best of their ability. Should be knowledgeable of how audio flow is run for the location they run sound in. Also should know how to troubleshoot problems for events. Staying entire service is a must.

A2: Assistant Sound Engineer for Worship/Event

Assists the A1 (Sunday Worship mainly) in the preparation of the stage of all audio equipment. Assists in soundcheck of equipment, handling communication between the A1 and other positions on the team, and fills in/assist the A1 during service running sound if necessary. Staying entire service is a must.

SM: Stage Manager for Worship/Event

Helps the A1/A2 prep the stage, set out all audio equipment needed, performs mic checks & assists the worship staff prepare for Sunday morning service, helps mic up the speaker and is available during entire service to handle "emergency" situations. Responsible for running out on stage if something goes wrong to "fix" it, typically under direction of team leadership. Staying entire service is a must.

We currently use a Avid Venue D'Show as our main in-house mixing console.

AST: Audio Streaming Engineer for Worship

Programs & operates the sound console and primary sound engineer for the event. Focuses on running sound to the best of their ability. Should be knowledgeable of how audio flow is run for the location they run sound in. Also should know how to troubleshoot problems for services. Staying entire service is a must.

We currently use a Midas M32 as our main live-streaming mixing console.
